Our Leadership
A Message from our President and Board of Trustees

Trent Williamson, Head of School
What will Memphis look like in fifteen years? What will Harding Academy look like in fifteen years? What role do we play in shaping the future of our city and impacting our world for Christ? Questions like these, and how we as a school community respond to them, will help guide us as we cast a vision and plan for the future of Harding Academy.
We believe in the goodness of Memphis, even in the midst of its struggles. For our great city to reach its fullest potential, we will need leaders and citizens who make intentional choices to unite, not divide. If you take a close look at Harding Academy right now, you will see those future leaders and citizens who have the strength and courage to unite Memphis. Our students are smart, creative, and strong. But more important, they are courageous.
In fifteen years, when leaders look back to analyze what had the most meaningful impact on the advancement of our city, they will point to institutions that made intentional choices–difficult choices–to make the unity and restoration of Memphis a priority. I believe you will find Harding Academy on the list of institutions that played a role in this transformation.
We believe God's Kingdom is one of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration. We are preparing our students to be leaders who will shape a world where the values of the Kingdom reign supreme. We are providing the academic instruction they will need to be valuable problem solvers who will be successful in whatever endeavors they choose. Our athletic programs make our athletes physically strong and competitive but also strengthen their will to be faithful and productive citizens who know the value of teamwork. We celebrate creativity through a fine arts program that empowers student artists and musicians to create and dream and inspire. However, our most treasured task is helping our students develop the courage to employ all of their unique strengths and skills for God's transformative work here on earth.
If you are a family looking to take an active role in God's redemptive work in this world, come and partner with us.
Sincerely,
Trent Williamson
