How to properly save your document to bring to school
These links are intended for students to use as resource materal.
DOCUMENT PRINTING TIPS
If you are not able to print out your document at home due to a lack of supplies or a computer/printer malfunction, here are your options.
- Email the document to Mrs. Collins as a Microsoft Word attachment. The document will be placed in your Harding folder. You will need to check formatting and text before printing in the computer lab.
- Email the document text as email text to Mrs. Collins. The email text will be copied into a Microsoft Word or Apple Works document. The document will be placed in your Harding folder. You will need to check formatting and text before printing in the computer lab.
- Copy your document to a portable USB keychain drive. (USB KEYCHAIN/JUMPDRIVE INFO) Bring to the computer lab and download the copied document to your Harding folder.
- Burn a copy of your document to a CD. Bring to the computer lab and download the copied document to your Harding folder.
PHOTO PRINTING/SAVING TIPS
If you required to have a digital photo for a class at Harding, here are your guidelines.
- Individual picture size should be less than 400K.
- Pictures should be burned to a CD in JPG format.
- Pictures in JPG format can also be copied to a USB keychain drive .
- Pictures (in JPG format) can be emailed as an attachment to Mrs. Collins for placement in your Harding folder.
- Students are responsible for planning ahead as a courtesy to the Technology Department. Color pictures printed in the lab and picture downloads copied into student folders will take time.
