Summer Study In England

Would you like to spend July this summer with high school students from around the country studying British humanities at Oxford University in England? Harding students have just such an opportunity. St. Hughs College, one of over thirty colleges which make up the university, offers a unique opportunity for high school students to live on campus, take tutorials from some of the the most distinguished scholars in the world, travel to many historical places in England, attend lectures presented by authorities in their area, and experience a true taste of British university life.

The centerpiece of this particular program is the opportunity to study a subject of your choosing under the direction of a noted scholar in a one-on-one setting. During your three-week experience, you will attend lectures; have access to the St. Hughs library and computer lab; explore the quaint city of Oxford; attend several concerts and plays; visit London, Salisbury, Gloucester, and Stonehenge; visit galleries and museums; and make friends with teenagers from many different places.

You can find out more about the program and apply for admission by visiting the St.Hughs web site.

If you are interested in the program or have questions about the program, email Mrs. Donaldson.
