Secondary Education
Academic excellence in a Christian environment is the reason for Harding Academy. At the secondary level, students are guided as they strive to establish and maintain a balance among spiritual, academic, and social aspects of their lives.
For the secondary program the essential ingredients are:
- Students who are committed to the Academy's core values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
- Programs designed to produce well-balanced students prepared for colleges and universities.
- Faculty devoted to setting examples of Christian living in and out of the classroom.
This year Harding's secondary program has adopted an emphasis on expectations that will be standard from classroom to classroom and teacher to teacher. These expectations, which support Harding's core values as well as the School Improvement Plan for Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, encompass both actual behavior and work habits and will be reflected in the conduct grades that appear on Evaluation Sheets and Report Cards. Students who embrace and conform to these standards will have a successful experience at Harding Academy.
