We are thrilled to announce that senior kindergarten–grade 12 will be together on one campus at the start of the 2018–2019 school year. Please watch the video below to get the details on the big move.
Why are we moving lower, middle, and upper schools to one campus?
Families need a one-stop shop once their children start lower school. We will offer that option within a Christ-centered, co-educational, college-preparatory school in the heart of the city.
At one campus, we can maximize the quality and breadth of our programs and facilities. Tuition will be kept affordable for more families, and there will be better facilities for all students.
What are the benefits of one campus?
It allows families with students of different ages to enjoy a single location for classes, practices, and school events. The Cherry Road campus provides amenities including multiple gymnasiums and athletic fields, on-site tech support, and more opportunities in the fine arts. Being on one campus allows our students and faculty members to build deeper, long-term relationships. And because it is more cost effective, it can help keep tuition costs within reach for more families.
What renovations will be made prior to the start of the 2018–2019 school year?
Preparations have already begun, and there is already ample space for everyone on the Cherry Road campus. Renovations will progress as funding allows. We are committed to working hard to raise the funds to have the playground and initial interior upgrades completed before the 2018–19 school year. Watch the video above to see our dream for a multi-year multi-phase renovation to the entire campus.
Is Little Harding part of the unified campus?
We plan to keep Little Harding at its current locations. Little Harding is a year-round program specifically designed to meet the needs of preschoolers age 18 months–4 years old. The program has grown 136% over the last two years. That growth indicates that we are meeting the needs of our littlest Lions well at our current locations. In addition, there is a logical separation between pre-school and SK–grade 12.
