Artist Talk with Ephraim Urevbu

On Saturday evening, September 6, supporters of Harding Academy's fine arts program enjoyed an evening of art, fun, and refreshment on historic South Main Street in downtown Memphis. Resident artist, Ephraim Urevbu, opened his gallery just for the Harding family and shared his incredible story that began in Warri, Nigeria. (Read a recap of his journey.)

The Art Village Gallery is located at 410 South Main. Its mission is simply to "connect the Mid -South with exotic works of art from talented but unknown artists living in developing countries."

Mr. Urevbu, who is a Harding White Station parent, also graciously donated proceeds from the sale of his "Blues Man" print to Harding's Institute for Faith & the Arts (IFA).

This event is just one way we wanted to show our thanks to the IFA supporters from 2013–2014.

Guests enjoyed appetizers catered by DeJAVU and music by Harding alumnus, Cedric Duncan ('12).
