Jr. High Baseball Wins Middle School League

The Junior High Lions won the championship game of the Middle School League last night, and finished the season in first place with a 9-2 record. Austin Stewart gave up only one hit, walked none and struck out 11, as the Lions defeated SBEC 8-0. He got RBI support from Will Garner and excellent defense by the entire Lions team, who played the game without an error. In addition to being champions of the Middle School League, all of Harding Academy can be very proud of this team, in the manner they demonstrated the best of sportsmanship, playing as a team without individual pride, and their overall representation of Harding Academy.
