Happy 60th Birthday Harding Academy

Harding Academy celebrated its 60th birthday on Friday, September 7 (actual date of the school's opening is September 8, 1952).  Alumni joined upper school students for a special assembly on Friday morning.  Betty Copeland ('66) and Alan Pritchard ('60) shared memories of their first days at Harding Academy (originally Memphis Christian School). Guests were treated to a reception at the conclusion of the assembly and upper school students had birthday cake during lunch.

Early childhood and lower school students celebrated with a fifties dress-up day, fifties music, and  birthday cake (or cookies). The kids had a blast!

We are grateful for the dream that became a school sixty years ago and for the opportunities we have each day to learn in a Christ-centered environment.
