Dear Parents of Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders,
As many of you know, our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes have class trips each year; however, the 2017-2018 class trips are changing. We posted a few weeks ago that beginning next year, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade trips will all occur on the same week. This will allow our students to miss less class time (students often miss instructional time when their teachers go on class trips with a different grade). Furthermore, the trips will be in the fall, meaning the wonderful bonding that occurs because of class trips can be accelerated. We are happy to announce that we now have the dates. Although the trips will leave on staggered dates because each trip is a different length of time, all three trips will be during the week of October 22-28.
The class trip information is attached to this email, and it will also be included on the middle school blog and in Canvas.
Please note these important dates for all trips:
- July 15 – Commitment forms must be returned if you choose to pay through your FACTS account.
- August 18 – ALL commitment forms and first payments due.
- September 15 – Refund deadline.
- September 27 – All payments must be made by this date.
All forms and payments should be returned to the Middle School Office. Checks should be made to Harding Academy. If you have questions, please contact Dawn Gilreath.
