LEAP Enrichment Program • Spring 2013

The Harding Academy LEAP program is an after-school fee-based program that gives students a variety of opportunities to explore interests and develop new skills outside of the classroom. Programs are offered during the school year and in the summer for PK - Grade 12. Music lessons, recreational sports, and academic enrichment are available each semester and vary by grade. Summer programs are open to the community.  Learn to Explore All Possibilities!

When you enter the registration site, you do not have to register.  You may just view.  If you do not have a user name and password, you can enter as a NEW USER.  If your child has taken a LEAP class or camp, sports camp, or has attended Summer Day Camp, you will have an online account automatically.  If you need assistance, please call 767-5344,

Policies and Guidelines

Participants:
PK (3's) - Grade 12
New! Participants in EC1 and EC2 have one class available for them this semester and it will require parent participation.
Participants in any Suzuki music class (when offered) must have parent participation as the standard practice for this type of program.
Campus:  Cherry Road, Cordova, and White Station

LEAP CLASSES ARE OPEN TO HARDING FAMILIES DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. Parents of students in PK through Grade 6 do not have to return to school to take a student to a LEAP class unless the class begins after 3:30 and the student is not in After-school Care. Students will be taken to class by the LEAP instructor or a member of the Harding faculty / staff.

Registration:
Online registration powered by Active.com allows payments by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and eChecks. If you have an account, registration information does not have to be re-entered but MUST updated with the student's current grade, teacher, etc.

Fees:
All fees must be paid at the time of registration. Annual music lessons have a $100 deposit and $25 supply fee. The balance may be paid through an automatic payment plan using eCheck, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover.  Fees are not refundable after the first day of camp. Fees will not be adjusted if you are unable to attend all sessions.

Confirmations:
Once the student is registered online, an automatic confirmation is sent to the parent account.  Please record the date and time of your camps as you may not receive an additional confirmation.  Students will be notified if the the camp is FULL or in the event of cancelation.

Cancelations:
Camps with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancelation with a full refund. Notification of cancelation will be made prior to the beginning of the class.

Discontinuation:
Students are expected to adhere to the policies of Harding Academy. We reserve the right to dismiss from the program (without refund) any student whose behavior becomes uncooperative.

Attendance:
No refunds will be given for students who choose not to attend class.

General Policies:
Students in After-school Care will be checked in and out of ASC by the LEAP instructor and parents will sign out their ASC students from that office.  Students that are car riders must be picked up promptly after the LEAP class and parents will sign car riders out of the LEAP class directly.  Late fees may apply if a parent is late picking up a car rider.
