MISSION

The purpose of the Harding Academy High School Library is to provide appropriate resources and encourage effective use of information. The library program supports the curriculum and educational goals of Harding Academy.

Like all tools, information can be used for countless purposes and ends. We want to equip our students with a Christ-centered approach that not only teaches fluency in information and instructional technologies, but also stresses the responsibility and stewardship that we are called to as Christians.


GOALS

  • To promote literacy and encourage leisure use of worthwhile materials.
  • To provide services, resources, and technologies in support of the curriculum.
  • To provide guidance in the use of information and instructional technologies.
  • To maintain and expand the existing collection of print and non-print materials.
