Harding White Station had a Hawaiian Luau themed dress-up day to promote the Fall fundraiser.  The students in Mr. Cunningham's fourth grade class had fun "hanging loose" with the Big Kahuna himself, Mr. Trent Williamson.  Students in grades JK through 6th enjoyed wearing grass skirts, leis, flowered shirts, sunglasses, and other Hawaiian attire to get them in the island spirit of selling!

Reeds Jewelers Essay Contest Winner

Each May, Reeds Jewelers sponsors an essay contest for the fourth and fifth grades of several local schools. The topic of the essay is "Why I Love My Mother." These essays are judged by an independent judge, and a winner is  chosen by considering grammar, handwriting, and content. The winner receives a diamond pendant for his/her mother. White Station's winner this year is Sarrah Stephenson. Mrs. Pratt's fifth grade class includes the essays when presenting their annual Mothers Day chapel.
